99 gsr integra
Parts list... All basic bolt ons, headers, intake, exhaust, skunk2 pro series IM, 255 walbro fuel pump, p73 itr ecu...and just recently i have added 01 ITR cams, itr valve springs, itr retainers, stock gsr valves, with small kind port and polish on the intake & exhaust..Now this weekend im adding new SRP 11.1 forged pistons & eagle rods, rod bearings and 3 layer cometic headgasket on my standard gsr block... I was going to just be running it n/a (all motor) but now im thinking of maybe running a 75 shot nitrous. Since it is forged pistons. ( good or bad? ) lmk what u guys think would nitrous be safe? Or should i just run it n/a...? And what kind of hp am i gonna be lookin towards.. All opinions welcome.. Thanks

 

well if you install the pistons and rods you have to wait a month or two to break everything in so youll have a little while longer to decide what you want to do.... Nitrous is pretty awesome tho lol...personally id go with low compression pistons and go boost!

 

i know a guy who does alot of v8 nitrous setups, its not the pistons he says are the issues its the ringlands because how high they sit, but with a safe tune man i think a 75 would be ok to run

 

 

Thanks guys i just wondering if anyone has a similar setup i know turbo is the way but im kinda on a low buget and want to get the most out of what i can...all motor build maybe small shot of nitrous just as a backup for some street races. Thanks
