Default H22 Crankshaft

I have an h22a1 and im having trouble spinning my crankshaft with the gridle torqued down and when i take it off. What can cause this because i have tried everything so i need some help guys .

What's the setup? last time I had that problem, the mains were split straight down the block between cyl#2 and 3. This was a reputable name-brand sleeve company too.

8:5:1 COMPRESSION

ILL CHECK THE MAINS AND THE BLOCK LOOKS FINE BUT I'LL CHECK THAT TOO. I HAVE TONE OF LUBE DOWN THERE AND AND IT'S STILL HARD TO SPIN AND THE MAIN CAP LOOKS OK SO ILL LET U KNOW .

balance shaft setup? pretty much anything that'll spin could be the problem since they all spin together.

and is it not spinning freely ONLY when the main caps are torqued down? What about when the main caps are sitting flush but not torqued to spec yet? Might be a good idea to check for flatness on the caps as well as the girdle surface

it doesn't spin easy periode boss and im going crazy as hell, and nah man no balance shafts at all. when i spin it i does spin but it's interferrence when i try to spin it over so the pistons can spin.

lol damn.. that's a bitch.

Take the belt off, spin each pulley/gear individually and see if there's a single pulley or gear that's the cause of it. If it's the crank pulley, you probably wanna take the block apart and re-inspect/re-install everything carefully.

I don't think it applies since you're a straight H22, but did you check to see if the rotating assembly (crank/rods/pistons) clear the oil squirters? I'll take a look later at my spare block and see if anything else I can think of lol. you close to getting that car running yet? haha

lol yeah i actually mad 418 hp but i had to take it apart again because or the rings in it. and it just block and head at the moment boss no pullys but ill check everything and yeah it clears the oil squirters but i'll try again and see .
