Brake Caliper upgrade on GSR Integra
I was thinking of upgrading my '95 Integra GSR's OEM stock brake calipers for new calipers with higher stopping power. My main concern while doing the upgrade; the new calipers need to clear when I roll on my 15" Mugen RNR wheels. I've found so far the Mugen caliper kit to fit, but I want to know if anyone else has other suggestions or options?
Thanks everyone.

I have the Acura Legend 2-pots in the front, clear my 96 spec ITR wheels just fine. The ITR caliper is a bit smaller, but will upgrade braking significantly over your current GSR setup. The Legend 2-pot is the most amazing thing that ever happened to me, I paired this off w/an 11" VW Corrado rotor...f-in amazing.
RNR's should easily clear (same size/offset as my 96spec wheels) the legend and/or Type R caliper.
fastbrakes sells the whole kit, w/the re-drilled 11" rotor and shaved bracket for a good price if your looking for a "straight" swap.

You could probably do the itr caliper upgrade using re-drilled prelude rotors for $150. Calipers are about $100 through rockauto and they always have close out deals on rotors for like $10. Find a cheap set of pads and provided you're doing the work yourself you are ready to rock.
Ultimately though you are limited by your tires. I'm using hawk dtc-60 pads on my race car and it is not all that hard to lock up a tire on the front, if you are standing on the pedal, they will lock up. That's with 225 hoosier r6's. That said, my little crx stops on a dime

If you are just wanting to upgrade the brakes for looks or are overheating your brakes with the proper pads the next step up from gsr brakes would be an 11 inch rotor and ITR calipers. To keep 4 lug that would be the mini cooper rotor and the type r/accord wagon calipers.
