b20b's injectors are not firing.
i posted this in another guys thread, but wanted to give it its own thread to get more views and hopefully some thoughtful advice. in the meantime i will be searching some more to see if i can find out on my own.

alright. ive got one for you. i completed a JDM b20b swap into my 89 hatch recently, and it will turn over but it wont start because the injectors are not firing. it has fuel to the injectors. it has spark. it has timing. it has been converted to obd1.
-i did the dpfi->mpfi first and ive checked my wiring. its all seems to be right.
-i purchased an obd0->obd1 conversion harness and it is plugged in.
-i had a junkyard obd1 ECU in it, but replaced it today with a refurbished and chipped obd1 ECU.
-i picked up several spare main relays from the junk yard and i have one that is functioning properly in the car now.
-the #14fuse(ecu and efi) is fine.
-i worked out a grounding issue as well, so its grounded properly now.
-the dizzy's cap was crushed and the wiring was chopped when the engine arrived from japan. so i have replaced teh cap and the rotor. and i repinned the obd2 dizzy's clip so i could plug it directly into the obd0 engine harness.(matched the colors from 0bd0 to obd1 to obd2. was a pain)
-it has about 4 gallons of fresh 89 octane in it.
-the fuel pump IS priming and working.
-i am getting voltage to the injectors.
-im using the b20b's obd2 injectors, but ive been told they will work fine as long as i have it converted to obd1(which i have).
-im using the b20b's obd2 dizzy, but again, ive been told that if its converted to obd1 that it will work just fine.
-i am getting the proper voltage to the TPS(4.7v with the ignition on, if i remember correctly)
SO something is stopping all 4 of the injectors from firing. im thinking that its the crankshaft position sensor or the camshaft position sensor inside the dizzy. how should i test to see if one of those is bad? and which one of those controls when the injectors will fire on this engine? any other helpful thoughts or ideas are welcome

well can someone at least confirm that i can use an obd2 dizzy? or do i HAVE to use an odb1 dohc dizzy on this engine swap? since ive converted it to obd1?
So check it when you wired the dizzy on the harness side you had 2 white wires and on the obd2 dizzy you only got 1 white wire then you got a yellow green wire that doesnt match up to the harness. The thick white wire on the harness side goes to the yellow green wire on the dizzy side. When you wired up the injectors you used no resistor box and obd1 or obd2 injectors right? Did you get power to the injectors by wiring the 2 yellow black wires from the dpfi injector to the 4 new injectors. Check that stuff then repost. Goodluck

i got a remaned dizzy from a 93 teg that i will install tomorow hopefully. but i have to go to teh junkyard first and get the right harness plugs, so i can make an adapter for the obd0 harness to obd1 dizzy. (i odnt want to splice into the wiring on the dizzy incase i return it)
i currently just repinned the obd2 dizzy harness, but it wont work for this obd1 dizzy.
