Default ****Foglight Switch Wiring Help****

Hey guys i just recently bought some DEPO foglights and got everything all wired up and all is working great. I have that Cheapo switch that it comes with and am wanting to change it. I have a EDM Console switch that fits in the armrest on my Ej. Here is the issue, the POS Plug that came with the Foglights has 4 wires (see pic) and the EDM switch has 3 (see pic). I wired up the Edm plug through the Dash wiring harness that came with the foglights, and i keep blowing #19 fuse (illumintaion of parking lights) and that is not allowing me to turn the foglights on. I Can get the EDM foglight switch to light up but not turn the foglights them self on? Im stumped a little help on the situation would help alot.

I hope that all makes sense if not ask me and i will tell you whats wrong or right. I just want to get the switch all wired up.

Sorry for the Cell phone pics!

Thanks Guys!

Increase the fuse to 15A. When I used my OEM USDM wire harness and modified it to accept a JDM switch (on my Integra), I blew the fuse. I put a larger fuse and never had it blow again.

Are you sure you wired the Depo harness correctly to the switch?

Red is the 12volt from the Batt

Blue is Ground

Yellow is hooked to the fuse box

The wires on the back of the EDM plug are obviously different colors.

It really shouldn't matter which color is input and which is output (green/red and yellow). It would work either way.

But I wonder why two switches that look exactly the same have different outputs.

Well i would have to wire it up like the diagram from the teg. I then would think that it would work like a charm.
