Default a few questions about my h22 civic swap

Hi, i finished taking my old d15z6 (i live in the u.k) out of my ek3 today and my h22a5 is ready to go in however im confused about the crank speed sensor. My believeing is that it connects to the oil pump on obd2. My d15 is obd2 and the sensor goes to the oil pump, do you know if i can use the sensor from the d15 on my h22? does anyone have a picture of where the sensor mounts etc?

My other question is about my injectors. i will be using a obd2-obd1 conversion harness to a p28 ecu. ive got rc 440 (non resister box) injectors, does the p28 need a resistor box or can i use mine? i read some info early which led me to believe that the p28 is used to running with a resistor box so you should there for use inj with a resistor box :-S i was not aware of this before.

The OBD1 H22 has the crank sensor in the distributor. The RC (non resistor) injectors do not require a resistor. The P28 does not utilize an injector resistor. Does the H22a5 have a crank sensor on the oil pump?

ok thanks for that. there are no bolt holes on the oil pump where the sensor should be so im assuming the only place it can be is the distributor. its definately a 97 engine and its obd2, they must do it differently in europe

Yeah, the only way to install a crank sensor on the H22 oil pump is to replace the pump with the appropriate year. I used to have an OBD2 H22 Euro-R and it had the crank sensor in the dizzy. Good luck on your swap!
