Re: Resistor Box ??
Yes I'm using obd1 injectors from a 93 h22, what do yall recommend to do use a Gsr harness and add a resistor box or try and find a obd1 h22 harness with it already

Re: Resistor Box ??
you can use either as long as u install a resistor box. if you can find an h22 use and just trim what you dont need otherwise just add it. there are plenty of threads on here of how to make them

Re: Resistor Box ??
majority all obd1 h22 came with saturated injector ... i ask the same question and pplz told me i need one i took mine injector to honda they told me they were saturated so i dnt need an resitor box............just check your injector to see if there peak and hold or saturated

To check the injector to see this, use an ohmmeter. When you ohm them out, they will have i believe 2 ohms or less (hence, low impedence, peak and hold so the resistor box adds around an estimated 10 ohms more or less) if they were saturated their resistance will be much higher, like around 11.6 or so. If its from an OBD1 injector from an H22 it will be low and therefore you'll need a resistor box/inline resistors

Re: Resistor Box ??
Must have gotten them mixed up with some other injector because NO Prelude injector from 92-95 was saturated (peak and hold injectors require a resistor box, thats why Accords and Preludes within these years have resistor boxes). The 96 crossed over to OBD2 and they are saturated.

Re: Resistor Box ??
i ordered a h22 from hmotors. i asked for a obd1 motor. turns out the motor is a 97 but everything is obd1. after some research i found out that accord sir's were obd1 up to 97 then switched over either mid year 97 or 98. so would i have peak and hold injectors or saturated?

Re: Resistor Box ??
so if i wanted to remove the resistor box i would have to get obd2 h22 injectors which dont require one which are high impedence?

Re: Resistor Box ??
use a multimeter to check the ohms on the injectors
if its less then 5 ohms you will need a resistor box
if its 10 ohms or higher you will not need a resistor box
