Does the 99 and newer CTR tranny have the 4.7 final drive and LSD??
I think the 98 and older came with the 4.4 final drive and LSD correct me if I'm wrong. Any help is appreciated and if there is a link to a website where they have all the *updated* tranny info that would be great.

 

ctr tranny comes with LSD and the 4.4 FD. JDM ITR came with 4.78 FD and LSD

 

Correct, however, only the 98+ ITR has 4.785 w/ factory helical LSD

 

thats becuase they came with 16 inch wheels. i swear i just posted this like 4 days ago.. search works wonders

 

CTR tranny is the same as a B16A tranny

 

How about, ctr tranny is the same as usdm itr tranny.

 

did you read above??!? its NTO the same the b16 tranny does NOT have an LSD!

 

don't some b16 trannies come with a LSD.. heheh I know optional OEM in japan but still

 

So to sum it up the CTR tranny has NEVER had the 4.785 Final drive correct?

The 98+ ITR tranny has the 4.785 Final drive.

Both have LSD right?

I'm asking b/c some guy says he has a 99 JDM CTR tranny with the 4.785 final drive not the 4.4, so is this guy talking ****?

CTR trannies marked S4C has NEVER come with a 4.785 FDR.

CTR = USDM ITR

They both have a 4.40 FDR with factory LSD.

Ask the guy what are the FIRST 3 characters on his transmission serial bar.

If its S4C, it came out of a Civic and is probably a CTR with 4.40 FDR w/ OEM LSD.

If its S80, it came out of an Integra. 96-97 spec JDM ITR = 4.40 FDR w/ LSD 98+ 4.785 FDR w/ LSD

 

He might have added it seeing as some add the JDM final drive to other transmissions

 

my b16 trannys have lsd's its an option in japan. stop yelling mr knjow it all.

 

what does final drive and the numbers mean???? i know what lsd is, but not fd.
