Default D16y5 issues trip'd codes! Smoke! rough idle!

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST TO HAVE A FULL IDEA OF WHAT IS GOING ON HERE LOL

heres my setup first of all that i just purchased

its a 95 hatchback with a d16y5 swapped into it using a obd1 to obd2a harness for the p2n ecu

issues

im trippping the following codes

22 vtec oil pressure switch
41 primary 02 sensor
54 ckf sensor
63 02 sensor heated
65 02 sensor heater

the car has a very rough idle and has heavy smoke coming from the valve cover

i have replaced the valve cover gasket / spark plug gromets / plug wires / plugs / intake filter / PCV valve

* since the motor is obd2a do i need to do some kind of special wiring for those sensors?
* do i even have these sensors or do i need to do the bypass wiring for them?

* the oil pressure switch is connected into the ecu clip but doesnt seem stable can you wire it directly into the conversion harness?

ANY IDEAS ARE APPRECIATED!

You are def. going to need two o2 sensors, the primary is a 5 wire which isn't cheap by any means. I've seen where some people by a generic 5 wire and change the wiring around to make it work. The secondary o2 sensor is just the standard 4 wire.

some issues about the y5's is make sure to clean the egr ports, and also the exhaust manifolds are bad for cracking at the #3 runner around the o2 sensor. Another issue is that honda had a bad batch of ecu's and my 97 was infected by it but mine was included in their extended emissions warranty. The ecu for the y5 can be fairly hard to find.

That will be an excellent swap for you if you do any kind of commuting.

You will have to run the p2n with that engine unless you swap the head but that makes having a y5 pointless if you do that.

it has the 4 wire one at the exhaust manifold currently but no secondary further down the exhaust also i checked for any cracks around the exhaust mani and didnt see anything is they way of testing for cracks? i just bought a p2n ecu for it and conversion harness to use it on the obd1 harness i also have a p28 and they act the same but the p28 only throw the 22 and 19 code unlike the p2n which throws plenty more... i also cleaned my vtec pressure switch screen out and checked for oil and it def had oil in it

any other ideas? think the 02 sensors can be causing all these issues im having? also what about the ckf sensor? im lost and have done a ton of searching and can t find anything im confused about lol

Well you meed to get the right o2 sensors for sure so I would at least start there. The 5 wire goes in the exhaust manifold and the 4 wire will go after the cat. I know the y8 has a knock sensor but not sure if the y5 has one.
