97 civic ex jdm b16a1 motor swap. b series tranny, hydro stage 3 clutch,dc 1 piece headers,camber kit, racing sprockets, chipped ecu,2 piece rotors,17" blacked out rims.

Now that i have the description out of the way my v tech is not kicking in and the spedometer isnt working. i changed vss not the problem,not fuse either... HELP..pics via link

I think the blacked out 17s and v tech could be the problem..

 

Why do you need pics do diagnose a VTEC issue? When did all of these stop working?

just bought car few weeks ago. have no idea what the ecu is that is the reason for pics. vtec hasent worked since i bought it. spedo did but stopped any clues on type of ecu?

Look at pic #3. It tells you right there. It's a P2P ECU. Why do you think it's unidentifiable?

Um. The ID sticker is right on the ECU-P2P-A83. There's really no such thing as a P2P harness.

 

so is that a p28 or p30.......i was told i need a p30

yea i know but should i go with a p30 or stick with what i got..what can you tell me about that p2p

 

just dropped satge 3 clutch in and car wont start????
