96 civic smelling fumes while driving
i hvae a 96 hatch with a obd1 b18 swap. I barely finished up the swap and when im driving after a while i start to smell this weird fume. idk where its coming from? I can smell it alot too when i get on it a lil it. my piping is on and connected and all thta. Anybody have any ideas what it can be?
thats what i was thinking but from where? ive looked and i cant find it. when i was running open headers i thought that was the reason and now its connected to my piping and the same thing. But when im driving i hear like a buzz so im guessing i do have a leak somewhere

Is the line from the valve cover connected to the intake. That can cause a smell as well. Usually it's an oil smell though. But it's a possibility.
oh i was thinking the intake manifold
its not connected to the intake (i dont have one) but its blocked off
im thinkin somethings lose like sometimes when i take off from a stop i hear something like pop like popping into place or something
it ended up being i didnt have the back o2 sensor on the downpipe so i hooked up a spare one i have without connecting it to the harness and its good for now
oh well yea thats exactly what happened lol it was just a hole until i stuck that o2 sensor in there, now i have to extend some wires on the harness so i can plug it up and get good gas mileage lol
