Default Things to look for when buying 96 civic?

Found a real clean one with 120k on it. besides driving behind it to see if it crabs, what do I need to inspect? oil leaks, radiator, hoses?

check the transmission, do a carfax. Find out how many owners it has had. Just becareful, but if it looks like a good deal I would take it. But remember, if it seems to good to be true it prolly is.

This happened when I bought my sol, sounded ghetto forever until I could pull another stock exhaust off a parts car

me too except my civic had 30k miles on it at the time! i was so pissed cuz my parents made me pay for a new one, even though i wasnt driving it at the time (they were on their way to pick me up at the county jail )

seriously though, honda does seem to have a problem with exhausts (or at least i think so). ive heard of alot of people having their exhausts fall apart on them with <100k miles, so defiantely check that out!

CV boots.
Engine oil color.
Windshield washers work properly
Wipers work properly
Heater and A/C
Stereo (front left, front right, rear left and rear right)
Cigarette lighter (power for other items in car in future)
Headlights and Tail lights all lights.
HAZARDS (my Cobras don't work and I bought it from a Ford dealer!)
Basically turn everything on and everything off make sure all switches work and take your time looking everything over.
