MSD external coil conversion

My car hasnt been gettin spark. My D16Z6 i know its a wiring issue. Would an external coil fix the problem? I think theres a chance since you have to re-wire the set-up

If you don't get spark now, then you most likely won't get spark just by changing the coil (unless your internal coil is bad).

If you know it's a wiring issue then why not fix your wiring?

I have had a lot of problems burning up igniters using msd products, fix the wiring if you think that's the problem and just stick will ur oem coil

Do you guys think it could be my main relay? Theres another thread on here and his car wasnt gettin spark and his main relay is burnt to a crisp

its prolly ur igniter that went bad, its inside your dizzy. i would try that first there cheap on ebay.

Run a text on main relay to see if its working, sorry don't remember off top of my head how to test
