Hey guys. I know everyone is probably going to say to search this but I don't have time. I'm buying a 98' honda civic today with a B18 swap and the guy said I can pick if I want the p06 ecu or the p75 ecu. I plan on getting a hondata and boosting so which one do you guys think I should get?

 

Bump. Does anyone have any info? Or know somewhere that has comparison? Leaving to buy it in a couple hours..

 

it could run on both ecu's BUT a obd2 ecu has a imobilizer in it that would need bypassed. you would be better off getting a jumper harness to drop from obd2a to obd1 to run a p06 ecu. would be better to have a chipped and socketed ecu with a b18 basemap on it.

 

if you use the p75 you can have the option of running stock maps. Id use the p75 for that reason.

 

OBD1 or OBD2 P75? If it's an OBD2 ECU and you're planning on running hondata get the P06, if the P75 is OBD1 i'd go with that.
