Precision 780cc injectors / Resistor box +AEM EMS
I am hoping someone can shed some light in this situation for me.
I have a set of 780cc precision injectors. They were installed and tuned in my engine with the AEM EMS unit (LS-Turbo.) The engine actually blew. #1 Cyl. melted a piston and blew the head gasket.
Long story short, the engine was rebuilt and now I am trying to start the car again.
The car will not start. So, I started checking spark (everything looked good.) So I moved on to fuel. Long story short, it looks as though only my #4 cylinder is getting fuel. I removed the fuel rail and test fired the injectors. I have swapped the clips to different injectors and still only one injector fired. I am assuming this could be relevant to the old nasty gas that was in the engine, or I have found what caused the engine to blow.
Does the ems have a setting to alter running peak and hold or saturated injectors? Or is it just necessary to run a resistor box? I am curious if the tune could have been setup for the incorrect driver set to go with the installed resistor box?
Before I swap another set of injectors in or send these to precision to be flow tested or tested in general, I want to be sure I am not overlooking the obvious (or God forbid, a larger underlining issue.)
If you have a few moments to help I appreciate it!
