B series Honda oil filters
Has anyone noticed a difference in Honda oil filters? The one that was originally listed is part number 15400-PT7-005. It has 8 small holes around the threaded hole. I guess it has been superceded by part number 15400-P0H-305. This filter has 6 large holes around the threaded hole. I wonder why there is a difference? Is one better than the other? Looking inside the hole, it appears the inside filtration is different also. What gives?? Anyone have any ideas on this?

Re: B series Honda oil filters (PressurizedSi)
Honda filters in the US were made either by Filtech or Fram. Now I think they've completely switched to Fram, so if you can get POH-305, then it's the better of the two. 15400-PT7-005 = Canadian Fram 15400-P0H-305 = USA FILTECH

If you want a better filter for the same price as a Honda, just get a Bosch. It's made by the same company who make the Mobil 1 and K@N oil filters, nearly identical in construction, yet 1/2 the price.
