D-series Throttle body question help plzzz
i just recently did auto to manual swap everything came out perfect i just got a manual throttle body for the manifold where those the hose under the throttle body lead too... d16y8 btw
KK let me rewritte this because i was in a rush when i did this.... I recently did an auto to manual swap on my d16y8. Everything came out perfect and a couple of days ago i swap the intake manifold to a manual one , the throttle body also but there is two hoses under the throttle body where do those hoses go...
Those two hoses likely go to the IACV. The auto IACV is attached to the bottom of the throttle body. The manual IACV is attached to the back of the intake manifold.

the valve under the TB is a FITV for cold starting. you can leave it unhooked or hook it up inline with your IACV on the back of the intake manifold. one hose goes to the nipple on the passengers side of the intake manifold going through the head and the other hose that would come from the IACV on the back of the manifold to the pipe that runs across the back of the water pump to the thermostat housing has a nipple.
