Default DB7 Integra B18C N/A or LS-T

Just picked up a clean 4 door teg automatic LS, really good running swap but would like more power

Wat i been thinking about is: GSR Swap w basic bolt ons. good for 170 bhp

Or an LS-T, good for about 200 bhp , and of coarse an manual trans swap.

THe LS in my swap right now is perfect, just put in 16 valves and polished the head. has 130k easy miles on a automatic trans.

if turbo i would like to do a legit a$$ turbo kit, turbonetics or garett. etc. and a good tune on good fuel managment.

looking to get reliability+power are most important. I already have the motor, so im leaning towards LS-T but driveability and $$ leans me to GSR. Advice?? lol

Boost with manual transmission.... Easy call. I ran this same setup with power steering, a/c, and all power in a civic. Was tons of fun for the street and a great daily. Also, I made well over 250 hp and right at 240 wtq. That was a very reliable setup and you already have the motor in the car.

If you were starting from scratch I would suggest some alternative route, but you will not be disappointedas long as you take your time and build the setup right and not just do it as cheap as possible.

Good luck

Nice, and yea 250hp sounds sweet. when boosting what should spend $$ on and what can i skimp on?? like i heard the piping i should skimp on and spend $$ on Good turbo and fuel management.

Im liking the LS-T lol i didnt think it could be reliable daily, but it looks positive now!!

Definately go with the Ls turbo. As far as skimping on anything, you really shouldn't.. Maybe ebay intercooler pipes and thats about it. Just remember to do your homework before committing to the turbo aspect of your project. Everything works in conjunction with everything else and its not uncommon to order wrong parts that don't coincide with one another. EX: Ordering a four bolt turbo housing when your manifold only accepts a 5 bolt pattern.

Don't ebay anything on a turbo set up especially the intercooler you could make a bunch if power but with a shitty intercooler you'll end up loosing it right there..

^^^ gotcha, ill take that into account. Im not gonna skimp on anything cus reliability is most important to me, so ima do it right the first time. BTW ma friend gave me a free OEM T-25 and Small intercooler off his SR20DET. So LS turbo it is. I might use them i might not, depending on how good thes OEM Nissan Parts are. ima research a little more.
