15x8 +20 offset question
Posted int he Wheel and Tire section as well but decided to double up to try and get an answer faster...
Hows it goin guys? I have an EG hatch and I recently sold my blades off it so its time I started finding me another set of wheels. I typically havent been a fan of wheels with big lips and dont know much about them but came across some 15x8 +20 wheels that have snatched my attention. From my understanding wheels with bigger lips can tamper with your cars handling ( The lip on these wheels are 3 inches ) my hatch is my daily driver but I do have plans to make it some what quicker and will focus on suspension more than motor work ( surrounded by curves more than straight lines lol ) I have done very small research 9 decided I would just ASK the question instead of feeling unsure the whole time. All of that said heres my questions:
IM currently lowered on Blox springs with front and rear camber kit and toe kit andSkunk2 shocks coming soon will a 15x8 wheel with a 3in lip and a +20 offset fit on my hatch without any fender rolling and huge negative camber? I bought my hatch with the front fender plastic already missing and the lip bent up
what size tire would you recommend?
Thanks in advance for any kind of help. Like I said I really dont know much about offsets like this and would rather just get a straight forward answer from the people who do.
Would I be better off just going with a more standard offset wheel
