Cold compression of 110/100/100/110 OK??
Picked up a used 95 Accord with about 150k on it. Did a cold compression test (didn't want to lean on hot engine) and got the following results: 110/100/100/110psi. Seems REAL low to me but I always thought the relation to each other is most important. Are these readings normal?
Also, I threw a timing light on while at idle and the mark is not lining up. Looks several degrees towards back of vehicle (clockwise). Car runs well and idles usually at fist mark BEFORE 1k (750k)?? Every once and a while it will drop to around 500rpm. Plug color looks real good on each cylinder.
I just want to make sure I don't have a bad head gasket or a bent valve(s). Seller can't tell me if timing belt has ever been changed. I am seeing some coolant dripping after driving the car. Can't quite see where its coming from. Looks like (looking at engine from left side, head on towards belts) it is around where the black plastic timing belt meets engine on right-cam side. Color of leak is clean-green antifreeze color.
Any thoughts?
Thx.

Sure i got a Haynes manual here. Will look when i find it. Thought they were low compression around these years same as mine.... will have to double check
Sounds like waterpump with the water / coolant issue, Just had this same problem.
Which one you think is the good one

If it was a head gasket, few easy ways to tell.
Open oil cap, creamy ? no. your ok
Check spark plugs for oil.. creamy ? no. your ok
Coolant creamy ? no. your ok
I ran out few hours ago ¬.¬

Likely cause of coolant is water pump weep hole. Grab a small mirror and look or lift the car and look from underneath.
Cause of advanced timing is advanced timing. Adjust timing and/or check cam timing.
If you have no idea when timing belt was replaced, replace the timing belt.
