Hey question for you tech guys...
1992 cx hatch hybrid-

I am smelling gas in the car.
in the cabin.
gutted interior, been that way for a year now.
all this week there has been an odor of gasoline inside the car.
fan on full blast and I dont smell it anymore.
open the driover window and I can smell gas.
windows up and I can smell gas.
I looked under the back of the gas tank and didnt see any wetspots.
I looked under the hood, no problems or smells there either.
I removed the silver metal fuel pump access cover, and it did smell a bit like gas bu tI cant see any wetspots or leaks.

any ideas?
My next move is to jack th ecar up and look at the fuel lines near the gas tank...

If I were you I'd jack it up, move anything blocking your sight to the fuel lines and let a friend pump the gas (think you'll have to be in acc mode). Then start looking or sniffing or whatever.

Warning: Gas smells good. Gas eats your brain. Don't eat or sniff gas.
