probably need coil packs but would still need some sort of TDC sensor or Crank Sensor of some sort.

really anything can be converted, as long as you know what you're doing. (3 cylinder and 5 cylinder may be a bit difficult.. but that's beside the point)

i'm sure there are how-to's out there on the web somewhere. maybe even on this site!

i've glanced over a few threads and articles on the subject. there are several ways to set it up, some less expensive than others. but, none are cheap compared to running the stock setup (with good quality, new replacement parts). i think it would only be cost effective if you knew the stock system were holding you back.

my opinion: do some research. try Google... spend no less then three hours reading/searching/compiling data. then come back and ask some specific questions if you have any at that point.

A question you should ask yourself is why go Coil on plug ? , Just for looks. Not worth it.

If for performance , worth it.

the price cost for going coil on plug is not cheap.

Need an EMS that can support coil on plug ( say AEM EMS ) , then need the 4 coils , and a firing box such as aem twin fire. and something to feed ignition input to the new Ems ( aem epm or T1 sensor kit ) , you are looking at $ 1500-$ 2500
