Replaced Ball Joints and noise is still there.

I replace ball joints on my 95 civc after hearing groaning, creaking noise after an axle change. I did that today and when I took of the noise was still there. Can this be a defective axle? Thanks

bearing perhaps. jack the car up in the front and support with stands then check for noise while you rotate the wheels

I did that as well no noise when car is raised. noise comes when accelerating from a stop or breaking to a stop or going up a bump slowly.

Noise was not there before I changed the axle

double check every bolt you touched to make sure you didn't leave anything loose.
