jdm b16a stock fuel pressure?
i have a jdm b16a in my 91 si, my faze afr gauge doesnt just flip flop back and forth as most do on a honda, it runs rich backs down slowly to lean and then dont do anything unless i just mash the crap out of the gas, my fuel pressure is set at a little over 40psi at idle with the vacuum line connected to the b&m regulator, but i have heard everything from 28-48 psi stock at idle, so with so many diff answers can ANYONE give me a legitimate RIGHT answer? i have just basic bolt ons, header intake, full 2.25 exhaust, chipped p28 with modded gsr maps.
i have a manual that says 36-37psi. you're close, but i would back it down. don't worry about it leaning out on your AF gauge, that's normal. as long as it runs good with no CEL, you're in good shape.
well the only thing that concerns me which i could ave a bad gauge i've had it forever but it just never registers anything unless i step hard on the gas, my p28 wasnt picking up my o2 sensor for about 3 months it stayed unplugged and one night finally thro a cel until i plugged it back up, but the motor only has about 3x,xxx miles on it, when i got it i was surprised cuz with the valve cover off the thing looked brand new from the factory like its never been run a day in 20 yrs, just trying to make sure i protect my investment and not ruin this awesome motor, i only paid 400 for it off a buddy cuz his hf had bad wiring problems but ya know, just dont want to f*** it up
