i got a 93 civic coupe with a b18b1.

problem is the thermostat gauge is reading funny.
tells me im over heating when im not. BUT it did overheat and blew the head gasket. well i fixed the head gasket problem its running smooth.. but still says it runs hot. so i wanna fix this issue. i bought a new thermostat..and the guage is still reading funky.

 

did you bleed the coolant system? maybe you are overheating since you did and blew a headgasket.

 

i flushed the radiator if the is consider bleeding it.. sorry ive never heard of doing that.. im new to cooling systems lol.. all i know is that the water flows but the gauge says im running out.. my fans are hardwired to a toggle switch.. could it make the gauge off?
