Hasport Bushing Experience?
I've read a lot of forums online, but I want first hand accounts if any of you have hasport mounts as to which bushing to get. I know that it get's stiffer, but is the extreme race one literally unbearable for daily driving? I am doing a GSR turbo build, mostly stock for daily driving, with forged pistons and about a 350hp expectation. HOWEVER i cannot resist free horsepower!! If the bushings cost the same I would be willing to get the extreme race bushings to gain some power to the wheels, but what do you guys think? worth the difference?
I have just the Hasport rear mount in the Street Urethane. At first they felt ridiculous, but you get used to them. Now I dont even notice except for that every time I blip the gas, the car will pull hard. This is a stock LS too.
It's not unbearable for daily and makes the car feel 100% better. You will notice when the car is slowing down in gear that the rear view vibrates, but it seldom does to the point where you cant see anything.
I'm happy with the Street and to be honest, wouldn't look at anything higher. But just giving my $.02.

Have you looked at Energy Suspension Inserts? I installed just the two lower torque mounts and right away I noticed a big difference. My whole car vibrates at cold start up but it's worth it IMO. I DD it as well.

I also had the torque mounts inserts... for about a week. Took em out because the vibration was just too damn ridiculous. Bought brand new OEM torque mounts to replace my torn ones instead.
Guess I'm just too old
IMHO all that damn vibration on a DD street car just makes it feel like you're driving a shitbox.

I have the 88a bushings in my integra. They make the entire car vibrate, but it's definitely not unbearable. The car's not a daily driver, but I've driven it on 1.5 hour trips to various tracks without a hitch; once you're going at highway speed, it's not all that noticeable.
The rear mount transfers the most vibration. So I think if you wanted to use a street one on the rear and something harder on the sides, that would work out too.
The cabin will vibrate slightly, but you will quickly get used to it. I find that as long as you're moving, you wont notice the vibration.
Oh I will mention that when it's cold and the car is idling high, the whole car will vibrate and sound like it's shaking itself apart.
dev, where on the East Coast are you located. If you're local enough, I can give you a ride.

Many people run without torque mounts when they use Hasport rear and side mounts, but apparently they weren't specifically designed to negate the need for torque mounts.
Yeah I've heard of so many people running without them since the Hasports do a great job of locking down the motor.
I broke one of my torque mounts when I was redoing my mounts and ran without one side until I could get a replacement bracket. Motor was still locked in and didn't budge at all. No difference in feel when I reinstalled the one mount either.
