Default Wiper control removal

I recently removed my wipers from the car and right now I have the steering column dropped to remove the dash. I was wondering if anyone has removed the arm that sticks out of the steering column to control the wiper functions and how you did it.

Any help is appreciated.

you remove the screws and it comes off...take the steering wheel off. theres screws that hold the switch assembly to the column. pull the column cover off too. i dont see why youd want to but you can take the screws out of the wiper switch and just have the headlight switch
