Catalytic Converter 98 civic lx

OK. I live in cali and this page says I CANNOT use this cat...

what happens IF i do use this cat?

will my car still pass smog?

Idk the link says its not permitted in California...

Magnaflow makes a replacement CA approved catalytic converter. I am not sure why we can't use a regular old cat. conv. but apparently the CARB passed that law sometime ago which restricts us from using non-CA approved cats.

Also, check your local muffler shop and see if they have a CA approved cat conv they can sell you.
