Icon2 Valvetrain - Spring Valve Cam Recommendation

I bent a valve from an overrev/overboost incident while tuning my EBC. Right now I have an unported GSR head with ITR valvetrain (springs/valves/retainers/cams). Im thinking if I have to remove the head to replace valves I might as well upgrade them.

Im thining of upgrading to Skunk2 Pro 1 cams too. What spring ratings are recommended for the Pro1 cams? Should I upgrade the valves too or replace with ITR again? Are Pro1 cams even a good choice for an unported head? I dont want to rev higher than 8500 and Im making about 500hp now.

Here is my complete setup:

Ferrea S10032 and E11000 are perfect for what you are looking to do with your Pro 1's.

I have a full set if your interested, used less than 6hrs and they were used with CTR's (00-01 ITR) cams.

Those are the OEM seat locators in the container as well.

What is the min recommended seat pressure for Pro1? 80lbs?
What do you recommend for valves?

Not sure on the seat pressure. A min of 80 sounds about right....

The ferrea valves work great as well. It's a bit more money than some of the competitors, but numerous people seem to prefer them over the others.

At your power level and rpm range there is no need to drop the extra coin on Ferrea stuff, just my .02

I bent a valve so I might as well upgrade. Id like to see 600 this summer and want a valve train to support Pro1 cams.

I forget which ones I have in my head, but if I remember correctly it was the comp valves.

While you're spending the money what's a few dollars more?

You don't have enough turbo for those cams.... just sayin.

I doubt he needs anything over 65lb seat pressure for what he is trying to do and more, no sense on losing power with extra seat pressure his engine doesn't need. I see plenty of people reving the ish out of Supertech stuff making big power.

I ran the S10035 (65lb) and .5mm OS Super Alloy's at 10k and around 600hp without an issue, I have the full set for sale as well... I need the 95lb stuff anyway but I am also considering a roller setup or I would reuse the stuff.
