Icon2 Theft prevention for OEM type r center caps?

I picked up some ITR wheels with the center caps, and now that I am going to put them on I noticed that the center caps can be removed from the outside using say a screwdriver. Anyway to prevent this AND still have the option to remove them to balance them again. So this would rule out krazy glue etc...but maybe some sort of way to tied it to the inside of the wheel or something....I have searched and found nothing so thanks!

You could always drive a few screws in through the compression tabs while the wheels are off. The screws would prevent the cap from being removable, but you'd have to remove the screws to mount/balance tires.

Would it crack the platic though? And woulf it easily drill into the rim intself? I thought that might be a challenge.

You're not drilling in to the rim itself. Basically, take a small screw and thread it through the plastic behind the face of the wheel (hard to explain). The idea is that the threaded part of the screw will prevent the cap from being fully removable.

I think I follow you, I'll have to really try it to get it.

Use some kinda of silicone or adhesive , but if you had to remove them this could mean braking them or your wheels, if you try silicone get the aquarium safe silicone. drys clear and will not mold when wet.

If you let dry for 72 hours this stuff is strong, if it hold water in fish tanks im sure it will **** some theft's enough to say F it. and its clear so if you clean it good it will not even be noticed and you can apply to inside of rim around the clamps that all OEM caps have to hold in place.
