Default GSR seats in EG are too high..

I have GSR seats in my eg and they sit too high. Are there any other brackets I could get or is am I stuck with what I got until I get new seats? What seats would you recommend? I'm not looking to spend $938249328493 on seats, but I'm 6'2" and my knees are stuck next to the steering wheel. Any help would be appreciated.

I know the seats came out of a two door GSR, but I don't know what brackets were used... Car came with these seats. How can I tell the difference? There is definitely a lot of space between the seat and the floor though.

Here is a picture of them:

Would del sol seats really be lower? I was also looking at NRG bucket seats, any experience?

Might be a dumb question but did you adjust the seat height? When I put in my integra seats into my eg they were very high and my head was hitting the ceiling, til I adjusted it.

Mine sit alot lower than my EJ8 seats did when I put them in. They were from an LS I think but I don't think that'd make a difference. PM me if you sell those though.

Maybe they had those seats in a ek civic and used the civic ek rails i think ek rails sit one inch or so higher but not sure, are those for sure gsr seats also? i know some 99-00 civic si came with black leather seats from an aftermarket company that the dealer used those would sit high too i assume but i could be wrong. But the picture looks like 98-01 gsr seats with the adjuster on the sides

I hear delsol seats are lower but they are not pretty unless you can find all black cloth or black leather the grey with the stripe are not attractive, just my opinion not hating

The big difference that would be the quickest way to tell is that one, the inside rear bolt hole doesn't line up on 6th rails when putting them into a teg or 5th gen. Two, if the inside rear bolt hole does line up, and has about a 1/3 inch thick spacer welded to the bottom of that part of the rail then it'd be teg rails.

^ I know what you're talking about for the "dealer option" leather interior. Some dealerships would offer it as an option and just send it to the local auto up guy and get them done in leather. Sometimes they even have SI or the Honda H stitched into the leather. Definitely not an OEM option.

EDIT* Sol seats are trash. I place them barely above 5th gen seats, CRX seats, and those early space age looking prelude seats.

Yeah man, they are for sure GSR seats, they are from a 99 GSR. I'm going to check out the rails tomorrow and Ill let yall know what's up. Thanks everyone for the responses.

Oh and to Jayster, (almost) no question is a dumb one, but yeah, I adjusted the seat height, its not really the roof clearance but its the distance between my knees and the steering wheel. Even with the seat all the way back, my knees are up in my throat and I have to reach for the shifter, not very comfortable. I didnt have this issue in my Integra but that's prolly because of the adjustable steering wheel. I just feel like I am sitting a lot higher than I should be... Like I said, Ill check out the rails, thanks guys.

Del Sol seats sit about 1-2" lower than stock Civic/Integra seats.
