a cure for fading paint?
well i just bought a 99 civic coupae. its in exellent condition however it is milano red and ive been reading lots of articles about the paint fading and turning pink! there is one small spot of my car that is fading, (hardly noticeable) and i tried to buff it out by hand using a micro fiber rag and this meguiars product called scratch x2.0. it didnt really seem to fix the fading but it gave the whole car a super glossy shine.
does anyone know of a product that can help either fix or prevent paint from fading? also, i have heard some people say that milano red fades because that color does not require a clear coat.... thats 100% not true, almost all cars from the late 90's and up are using a base coat clear coat paint.
