Default How can you tell if the shift linkage is rubbing?

Just wondering. How can you tell if it's rubbing with something? More vibration?

Rubbing what, your O2 sensor?

You can tell by the extra vibration on your shifter.

jack the car up and watch from underneath while a buddy shifts.
