Hey guys here are my symptoms. The car cranks and runs fine until I go to downshift. It will stutter exactly like a car that's running out of gas. I simply let off the gas for a few seconds then start back into it. the car never cuts off I can kick it into neutral as its doing it and it idles fine. Its literally just on downshift and I mean from 1.5 rpms to 3 or so I don't race it haha.

Car has plenty of gas, new dizzy, plugs,wires, fuel pump and filter, but I'm not against replacing anything iof the signs and symptoms point to a definite culprit. Tia

 

upon further diagnosis of symptoms here is what i have found

anytime the car is in vaccume (i think thats what its called) for a few seconds it is jumpy to continue

example- in 5th gear turning 2500 rpms going down a long hill with my foot off the gas. once i get to the bottom and re accelerate is when it cuts out (when i say cuts out i dont mean cuts off, just jumpy like no fuel.

so anytime im in gear turning rpms but not on the gas for more than 3-5 seconds when i start back into the gas it has little to no throttle response until it decides to quit being a bitch (usually about 3-5 seconds then throttle is back)

anyone?
