Here's the deal, I have a EF9 swap (JDM B16 with Y1 LSD Transmission). My issue is that the transmission came with no Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). I've been trying various VSS's but gears are all too big for the LSD diff.

So basically, I need the VSS from the JDM EF9. As far as I've been able to figure out that's the only one that will fit. Anyone know where I can one?

 

a 95 civic ex one worked for me but thats electronic better yet i also used the one out of my d series tranny and it worked mint..

 

too big for the diff? so the drive gear wont sit all the way down into the trans cause the speedo gear on the diff is larger? or what?

 

Iv always just dropped in the d series vss if i recall and never had any problems

 

Just found out today that I actually have a Cusco LSD not OEM Honda. That is why none of my VSS's would fit... Gotta source out a Cusco speedo gear now

 

usually when you swap in an lsd you transfer the speedo drive ring gear from the original diff to the lsd.
