Your probably right about the ebay parts, im doing a simalar build in a couple months. I have a few friends that have tried chrome with some bad luck. Look at http://www.xenocron.com/ They have some really good deals, ectune and neptune will do most everything your gonna want and are reliable. They will however be base map tunes, so you have to get it tuned if you want it to run good and you will have to send your ecu in for a core.

crome isn't the problem, the problem is running a base map on a custom combo. if a real tuner data logs crome and sets it up right for your specific application it's just fine. more than a few users on here have used crome with great success.

It all depends on the tuner

i just need to get something in there, if its a cheap brand new kit im sure it will work for a year or so, then when i need to i will upgrade the turbo and manifold cuz those are usually the cheap parts that go bad

why spend money twice, leave the car NA till you can do it right. i mean, hell, with precisions entry line a quality turbo is only $599 now, that and a $200 blox or $400 forged performance miniram or cast inline pro and you have $800-1000 into a decent start

Doesn't matter if you only plan on running 7-10 psi. Its eBay ****. I've seen eBay turbos fail on first startup, at idle.

Fast
Cheap
Reliable

Pick 2... You gotta pay to play in this game
