Front Strut Spring Compressor
The Advance Auto/Autozone rental spring compressors do not fit the front springs. Tried it for both a '93 and '97. Does anyone know of a compressor that actually fits?
I removed the struts and had a shop compress the springs and swap the struts. The drivers side upper spring seat is not properly aligned and needs to be corrected. On a Bilstein this is not an issue since the lower spring seat rotates on the strut. The orange Koni is a different story. I can take it back, but I would like to do it myself and avoid the hassle of the back and forth trip during a work day.
I have searched the forum and not found an answer. Anyone? Thanks.
