i just add new dot3 brake fluid.i have'nt drive it in couple week.after that i notice there was a leak from the mc.do i need a new mc or just replace da seal on da old one??help asap.

 

I would ask this question in the "Brake" section. Where is the master cylinder leaking from? The brake lines? At the reservoir?

 

i think is leaking from the resevoir.

 

Did you "overfill" it? Or has the level gone down again?

 

no..i did'nt over fill.i can see it on da ground.and i can see it ate some of the paint from where it leaks.

 

If it is leaking from the reservoir where it meets the cylinder you can just tighten it. If it is leaking from the cap then you either overfilled it or the fluid is somehow spilling out when you drive. Clean up the outside of the reservoir and cylinder and then check where it is leaking from.
