Im attempting to install a type r muffler onto my 94 integra 4 door. The muffler is off a Db8 integra type r. I know the muffler will fit on my stock LS piping. Where would i be able to get the 4 door type r piping or will the Us Spec Itr piping fit? what type of modifications will have to be done? will the exhaust come louder than that of a stock US spec itr, if modifications are done to the factory piping? I want the car to be quiet. Im just looking for a little better performance and looks while retaining a very comfortable ride for my child. thanks for your time

Wait... if you know the ITR muffler will fit onto your LS piping, then why don't you just bolt it up and call it day?

It won't be louder.

 

ah .. the piping on an ITR is 2.5 inch .. I don't know the size of the LS but it's not going to be as big as that .. but all you need is to go to auto zone and get a peice to convert the small size to larger size

 

I'm pretty sure USDM ITRs don't have a 2.5'' exhaust stock. IIRC it's like 2.38''

 

An exhaust isn't going to do much for a 4-door LS. Just put the muffler on the OEM piping and be done with it.
