thanks for the replys...i removed the fuses, then all of the spark plugs, then i put in the test gauge and i stepped on the gas pedal and cranked the motor over...the first round i got 120 on all cylinders..then the second round i got 75 in the first cylinder and the rest 120...why is the first cylinder lower do i got bad piston rings?

Everything you did sounds right. Pour a capful of oil in each cylinder before you test it. Crank the engine over for about 10 seonds give or take a few. If your compression jumps then you have bad rings.
