Default compression test

i gotta 1993 integra ls with a 1st gen jdm b16a and i just did my compression test myself and my results were 75 120 120 120...did i do it riite?

If you did it correctly, your motors ****ed. How exactly(step by step) did you perform the test?

thanks for the replys...i removed the fuses, then all of the spark plugs, then i put in the test gauge and i stepped on the gas pedal and cranked the motor over...the first round i got 120 on all cylinders..then the second round i got 75 in the first cylinder and the rest 120...why is the first cylinder lower do i got bad piston rings?

Was the motor warm when you did the test? Our motors are aluminum so they expand with heat. You want to try to have it at opperating temperature when you do the compression test.

Everything you did sounds right. Pour a capful of oil in each cylinder before you test it. Crank the engine over for about 10 seonds give or take a few. If your compression jumps then you have bad rings.
