code 65 is for rear o2 sensor heater. i'm pretty sure your back one is a regular 4 wire.

A 2 second google search confirms code 65 is for the rear sensor. Why did you spend $80 on a front sensor?

have you used a obd2 scanner to pull the actual p-code? might help identify the problem more specifically.

Wow, $400 O2 sensor egh? Are we talking about the same sensor? I just replaced my primary on my civic last weekend... it was $80 new.

I would check your secondary O2 sensor wiring harness. Maybe a wire got severed somewhere between the cat and engine bay. At least on mine, the wiring has a bung that fits into the frame. Maybe yours came loose and got cut on the frame.

i believe the 5 wire o2 sensors are specific for hx and vx models only. the cat is mounted on the exhaust manifold and both o2 plugs sit rite under the top radiator hose. i've checked the wires at that point and seemed to be ok. i cant think of anything else to do but to take it to the shop

65 is old school Honda codes, 6 long flashes, 5 short.
141 is OBD2 and the equivalent code. P0141 if it makes you feel better.

That'is all you will get, another form of the same code. It is still up to you to find what is causing it.
