looks like oil pan gasket is leaking...

i have a 98 civic lx chasis...

the motor is a 95 zc block, not sure what x it is, i know its non vtec tho...

so what gasket do i need to ask the autoparts store for?

IIRC, honda uses sealant, no gasket on the oil pan.

 

Any model. The DX and LX use the same motor, while EX has the SOHC VTEC. BUT, they ALL use the same oil pan gasket. Use a gasket.... -Later, BR

11251-P01-004 all single cam oil pan gaskets are the same, i would suggest going to the dealer better quality stuff. just give them this part # and tell them what its for.

 

My bad, I was thinking back to my nissan days. I haven't had to pull the bottom end apart on any Honda engine, Yet!
