i swapped in a b16 into my civic but the idle is high, 2000 rpm. why? i have no vacuum leaks on IM as i checked by spraying car cleaner...it has a constant idle at 2. when driving in gear, cruising i dont need to apply gas as it has enough to keep me moving.also new IM gasket and throttle body gasket looks good. any help

 

try adjusting your idle screw, and you may need to clean your fitv.

 

try adjusting the tps as well if needed, if your cruising and u dont need to apply gas, it sounds like its stuck open a little bit. try checking throttle cable to for enough slack. jus lookin at everything for ya
