I have a simple quick question:

Is it bad to have a little too much oil in the motor? The line is about 2.5 centimeters over the second dot on the dip stick. Is this bad?

2.5cm sounds like you poured in a quart too many. drain some oil ASAP.

Definatly WAY too much oil you should be AT the second dot even 1-3mm below is ok...... I made the mistake of putting too much oil and my turbo started eating oil because the already weakened seals were pooping out oil.... drained oil back to 2nd dot on the nose and now its not eating anywhere near as much oil, at least not enough to give me white/blue smoke of anykind at any rpm.....

 

I've heard it can cause the oil to foam up. The foamed bubbly oil does not protect as well. Probably worth it to get under there and drain some out.
