i bought a clifford AG4, and was quoted $800 and 1.5 days to install, that seems too high, and im wondering if anyone can reccomend a place to get an alarm installed in the area. im in denton and this was audiowerks that quoted me that price

what up fellow dentonite( not really just go to school) i think he full of bs but i don't know. check out maybe c.c. or talk to one of the guys about doing it on their day off. i don't know the specs of your alarm but 800 is crazy.

 

You can come down to plano and get it done at audio innovations for probaly a good price, if you went to hin you probaly seen are M3 and audi TT. but 800 is crazy is that with the alarm? and a system? lol

Most shops do that alarm for $1000-1100. That's alarm and install. The alarm is typically about $400-450 so the difference is made up in install. I qoute about $600 for install, depending on certain features. Shop around.

$1000 just for the alarm, retail? We sell it for around $400 at my shop, iirc (Don't know exactly, I'm an installer not salesman). That being the case, you would be looking at around $600 for install. Most shops I know/talk with, sell it for around $1000-1100 installed, out the door, with everything.

 

well i paid $400, but most online retailers sell for around $700-800 and list retail as $1,000, and ive heard that price before. i guess ill just have to pull out a phone book and call around

 

dayam thats a lot for installation..what does the alarm do? Drive itself?

 

nope but pretty much everything else, remote start, turbo timer, auto windows, and then all this other security stuff...(black jax - automotive shutdown) etc etc...
