Get an Exedy OEM or organic stage 1. Should run you about $200.
Would you really try to save $100-200 at the risk of your transmission and time/labor?

no ****, if i had more money i wouldnt be asking the question. and if money wasnt an issue 70% of people on this forum would own evos.
and yes, i would risk my transmission and time/labor.
they both lasted 4 months or 2 months a piece? and the springs fell out of both of them? and what "ebay" clutch? ebay doesnt sell clutches, brands sell them on ebay.

The cheapest clutch I would recommend is an Exedy OEM or organic stage one.

Daikin/exedy makes our OEM clutches.
This is exedys Organic stage one:

For $120 the oem replacement is kickass. I've heard of plenty of people running them on boosted d-series for years with no problems. it was recommended to me by a guy with a d-series turbo at the shop where I got my transmission replaced.

If at all possible I would wait and get the stage one organic. Or see if you can find one in good shape used maybe.
