Default 97 dx wont go into gear

Like the title says, won't go into anything but reverse, that was the last direction I drove. I'm trying to think small, guessing its the slave or master maybe the throwout bearing anybody got anything else for possibilities?

With the engine off, are you able to shift through all gears smoothly?

Try the slave cylinder first.

Bleed the daylights out of the clutch hydraulic system. If that doesn't help and there's no leak, then the master and/or slave cylinder may be bad.

I have a 2000 Ex and it started doing something similar. It had gotten low on fluid, so I added more. Now just after I start it I have to pump the clutch for it to go into gear, I assume my master/slave cylinder is about to go, but I don't know. Any one know of anything else it could be?

^Check for a fluid leak at the top of the clutch pedal.
