My right headlight works on high but not on low. i was replacing the bulbs and realized that the plastic wiring harness (is that the right term?) around it, had burned. so now i realize i need to replace the plastic wire harness that the wires go into that plugs into the headlight. what's that called, and does it cost a lot as an aftermarket part?

 

"pigtail"...I have no idea of the cost but it isn't much, ? < 20. More important thing would be to ask "why" it is burned.

 

I have no idea as to why it burned, it this a easy DIY?

 

Yea, once you get the new connector (pigtail) it is just a matter of connecting the wires together (sealing/protecting the connections).
