Default b16a in a gs-r??

just wondering why would some ppl wanna do that? i m not laughing or criticizing whoever did this, but just wanna no why they wanna give up their b18c1 for a b16a...

...cheap and temporary transplant while the B18C gets sleeved and rebuilt....

i dunno if anyone of you saw this car in the super street magazine, this guy put a b16a in his gs-r, JDM front-end conversion and prelude tailight. under the hood, turbo, cams, fuel regulator....i thought if he didn't have the money to settle for another b18c1, how could he afford an b16a along with other things he put in which cost more than just a b18c1? or maybe he is one of those JDM guy.....

I'm thinking that it is a B18c1 motor still in his car. If you look at the intake manifold, it's a GSR manifold. Must have been a typo I guess or maybe not.
Also, it said in the article that his car was a "test car" for Greddy to test thier new street legal turbo. So he got the turbo for free.
It was not a JDM frontend, it was a Silvia conversion.
