Recommend a mobile service or body shop for dent removal and rock chip/paint blemish
in the SanGabriel Valley area!
Preferably a place that knows Honda and has worked on aluminum cars. I have a 1st-gen Honda Insight. I think I'm ready to muster the courage to have the dents and dings removed plus get rid of some rock chips on the hood and some areas of the car touched up. I hope there is no need to repaint an entire panel.
Many of the dents are small and not very noticeable unless you happen to be at a certain viewing angle, then you'll see some distortion on the surface caused by the dent.
As for paint touch up. The bumper has a 3" x 1.5" scrape that I hope can be "spot" painted or whatever the technique is called. The plastic side skirts have paint rubbed off from getting in and out of car. I also hope that can be touched up without repainting entire skirt.
So any GOOD place? I'm willing to spend a pretty penny for QUALITY WORK. I've learned my lesson many years ago when I took my Mercedes 190E to a body shop in Covina to have the the car repainted black, hard-to-find original AMG ducktail spoiler put on and the grille converted to a W202 C-Class grille/nose. I had dreams for that car. The body shop did a shoddy job and--it was bad...I was naive then and didn't know what was good blah blah blah.
So I'm really looking hard to find a good EXPERIENCED person/place to remove dents and polish up my baby Insight.
Anyone have recommendations in the SGV area?
